Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our diamonds, shipping, and returns.
Diamonds & Pricing
Yes. In fact, we don't just match prices; we aim to beat them. If you find a specific diamond on a site like Rare Carat, James Allen, or Brilliant Earth, send us the link. Because we operate with significantly lower overhead than these large aggregators, we can often source the exact same GIA/IGI diamond for less.
We operate exclusively online, which means we don't have the overhead of expensive physical showrooms, sales commissions, or inventory holding costs. We source directly from the cutting facilities and pass those savings (often 30-40%) directly to you.
Yes. Every loose diamond we sell is certified by either GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or IGI (International Gemological Institute). You will receive the official grading report with your purchase.
Typically, yes. You will receive the original laminated certificate with your diamond.
Note for GIA Diamonds: As of 2023, GIA has moved to digital-only reports for some diamonds (0.15 to 2.99 carats). In this case, your diamond will come with a GIA sticker and QR code that verifies the digital report instantly.
While the traditional Four C's (Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat) tell you the grade of a diamond, they don't always tell you how it performs. We analyze the deeper data (Table %, Depth %, Angles) to give you a clear verdict:
- Ideal Proportions: These diamonds pass our strictest criteria for maximum light return and sparkle. They are the 10/10s of the market.
- Retail Standard: These diamonds are high-quality and match what you will find at most major retailers. They are beautiful options that offer great value, even if they technically fall slightly outside our 'Ideal' mathematical range.
Location & Safety
To keep our prices significantly lower than traditional retailers, we operate exclusively online. By eliminating the high costs of rent, luxury showrooms, and sales commissions, we pass those savings directly to you.
For the safety and security of our inventory and employees, we utilize a secure commercial shipping center for all logistics. We do not accept walk-ins or process returns at a public office address. This ensures a highly monitored, secure chain of custody for every diamond we ship and receive.
Shipping & Delivery
Most loose diamonds ship within 5-10 business days. If you are ordering a custom setting, please allow an additional 2-6 weeks for our jewelers to hand-craft the ring. We will keep you updated at every step.
